By purchasing any product or service from Sour Apple Studio, you are agreeing to the following terms of service. Please read all terms carefully before purchasing, as the following conditions will be upheld, and are put into place for the protection of both client and Sour Apple Studio.
General Terms of Service
Payment
Currently, we only accept credit card, bank card and e-check payments through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to make a payment through Paypal. If you pay with an e-check, it takes 3-5 days to clear, and your order will only be processed after payment completion.
Refunds
Due to the digital nature of our products, no refunds will be given at any time for any reason.
Non-communication
Should Sour Apple Studio be unable to communicate with a client for a period of 14 (fourteen) consecutive days by email during the design process, the project will be dropped without notice and any deposits and/or payments forfeited.
Compatibility
Sour Apple Studio ensures that all web designs, at the time of installation, will be compatible with Internet Explorer 7 & 8, and the latest versions of: Safari, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, as this accounts for the browsers of more than 75% of internet users. The design will be built on and compatible with a screen resolution of 1024x768, as this is the current standard for the web. If you need a design to accommodate a different resolution setting or browser, an extra fee will be required in order to establish compatibility, and in that case, please contact me before purchasing. ***Please note, Sour Apple Studio does not guarantee compatibility with AOL or IE 6 and below.***
Authorization
By purchasing a design package you are entering into a contract with Sour Apple Studio, a sole proprietor and independant contractor, and you, the client, give Sour Apple Studio permission to access to web hosting and domain accounts, blogger accounts, photohosting accounts, and shopping cart accounts for the purpose of installing or maintaining product.
Revisions & Rates
All custom web design projects, including blog designs, include 2 major rounds of revision. A major revision includes new graphics, layouts, or functionality. Minor revisions will be accepted throughout the project within reason. Should the client require additional major revisions, an hourly design fee of $45/hour will be charged. Once the client has provided final approval for installation and the full balance of the design fee paid, installation may occur at any time. Any changes required after installation will invoke a fee, depending on number and complexity of revisions.
Copyright
The graphics and all content of Sour Apple Studio is protected by U.S. Copyright law. No graphic, design, layout, coding, format or template is to be altered, changed or resold for any purpose. Purchasing a design, custom or pre-made, entitles you to use that design for only the specified purpose. You MAY NOT add your blog design code to any additional blog URLs, or copy, slice or cut the design graphics from your blog or website for use on another website, blog, or graphic for any reason. You also may not hire another designer to create a "coordinating" graphic for a blog or website design or graphic from Sour Apple Studio. The client has the right to purchase a royalty-free image for use with the design, but any derivative designs created by Sour Apple Studio using that image, are copyright protected and cannot be used for any other purpose than specified during the sale.
Copyright and Trademark of Outside Products/Property
Shoud the client provide Sour Apple Studio with digital products or images for use on the web project, it is the client's responsibility to ensure that they are not violating any copyright or trademark law. Sour Apple Studio will not be held responsible, under any circumstances, for violations of trademark or copyright due to products provided by the client.
Credits
The credit link to Sour Apple Studio must remain on every site, and should not be removed or altered for any reason. Should you purchase a blog design, you also agree to host our banner on your sidebar or footer, in addition to the credit link back to Sour Apple Studio.
Portfolio
The client agrees to allow Sour Apple Studio to post images and links of the completed site or graphics on our website Portfolio as a representation of past work.
Client Refusal
Sour Apple Studio retains the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
Privacy Policy
Sour Apple Studio does not share any client information with any outside parties under any circumstances!

Custom Blog Design
Please review my portfolio to ensure that you are familiar and comfortable with my design style before purchasing a custom blog design package from Sour Apple Studio. Should you need a design element or blog functionality that is not currently represented in the portfolio, Sour Apple Studio cannot guarantee that such a design element or blog functionality will be possible. The client should contact Sour Apple Studio BEFORE purchasing to discuss any specific needs.
Favicons
The client understands that favicons for blogger.com must be hosted on an external web hosting site, as blogger.com cannot function as a personal server for files. The favicon option on blog design packages is available for purchase, but Sour Apple Studio cannot be held responsible if at times the favicon does not display properly. Blogger as well as the favicon hosting server, may experience issues that affect the appearance of the favicon in the browser address bar and bookmarks. Sour Apple Studio will do everything possible to ensure proper function of the favicon, but is not responsible for malfunctions due to blogger, browser issues, or the hosting server. *** Please Note: Favicons only display correctly in IE 7 & 8, and Mozilla Firefox.***

Development and Completion
Custom Blog Design Customization forms need to be submitted within 7 days from receipt of email containing customization form. If Sour Apple Studio does not have the completed questionnaire within 21 consecutive days after the form is sent to the email address provided by the client, the deposit is forfeited and the project is canceled. Should you need more time than 21 days to complete the blog design questionnaire, please do not make your purchase until you are more prepared to answer the customization questions.
*Should the client need to postpone any project for any reason, Sour Apple Studio needs to be notified before the scheduled design date, and a fee of $25 will be charged to avoid cancelation of the project.

Ready to Go E-Commerce Templates
E-commerce templates do not include alterations to design or color. Such customizations may be possible for an extra fee, but it is important that you contact Sour Apple Studio regarding any changes prior to purchasing a premade template, as no refunds will be given.
All designs are built for an approved host. The client understands that they must purchase hosting as it is NOT included in their premade template purchase from Sour Apple Studio.
Premade e-commerce template purchases do not include the set-up of any categories, pages, or cart elements. Sour Apple Studio is not responsible for assisting in URL creation for template links or user-assistance for cart hosts. Please contact your cart host directly for assistance in setting up your store. Should you need changes to your template after installation, please contact Sour Apple Studio for a personalized quote.
Custom E-Commerce Website Design
Sour Apple Studio will provide client with a design quote, which will be honored for 7 days. After 7 days, the quote is null.
Timing for completion of custom websites will be determined largely by number of revisions and speed of responses by client.
A first proof of the site will be provided by SAS to client within 30 days of receipt of payment and all necessary information, photos, etc.
If the revision period exceeds 60 consecutive days from time of proof, an hourly design fee of $45 will be charged to client.
During the course of the project, should the client request a feature or element that was not determined in the quote proposal, client will be charged an additional fee to be determined at that time on a case by case basis. If Sour Apple Studio was not aware of the request at the start of the project, any additional requests cannot be guaranteed, although every effort will be made to satisfy the client's request.
All designs are built for an approved host. The client understands that they must purchase hosting as it is NOT included in their custom website design package from Sour Apple Studio.
